Booking

• Appointments can be scheduled through the online booking platform (Setmore) or by direct message via social media channels.
• Please ensure all contact information is provided during booking to allow for confirmation and reminders.
• Distorted Hair reserves the right to decline appointment requests if availability is limited or communication is incomplete.

Health and Safety

• Any known allergies, medical conditions, or sensitivities must be disclosed prior to any service. This includes skin conditions, scalp issues, or any history of reactions to hair products or treatments.
• If symptoms of illness (including cold, flu, or any other contagious condition) are present on the day of the appointment, Distorted Hair reserves the right to decline the service in order to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.

Payments

• All services must be paid for in full on the day of the appointment.
• Accepted payment methods include cash, card or mobile pay.

Late Arrivals

• Arrivals later than 15 minutes past the scheduled time will incur a late fee of €20, which will be added to the cost of the booked service.
• Consistent lateness may result in restrictions on future bookings.

Cancellations and No-Shows

• Appointments may be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled time.
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a fee equal to 50% of the booked service.
• Failure to attend an appointment without prior notice will result in a charge equal to 100% of the booked service.

Under 16s Policy

• It is required for legal guardian consent for any chemical services on clients under 16 (colour, bleaching, keratin).
• The guardian must complete and sign a consent form before the appointment can be confirmed.
• Forms can be signed in person or online.
• If the form is not completed, the appointment will be cancelled and standard cancellation fees may apply. 

Payment Deposits

• All fantasy or creative colour services require a 50% deposit.
• The deposit must be paid at least 1 week prior to the appointment date to allow products to be ordered in advance.
• Deposits are deducted from the final balance on the day of service.
• Deposits are non-refundable if the appointment is cancelled within 24 hours or in the event of non-attendance.
• Appointments without a deposit paid within the required timeframe will be released.
